It is hard to believe the Holidays are upon us. However, before you get ready to stuff yourself with turkey and stuffing, you have a race to run. The Star City Half Marathon, 10K and Kids Fun Run will take place this Saturday, November 22nd, at Rivers Edge North on Reserve Ave is the Start/Finish line and Party Central. Our participant numbers continue to grow and we are expecting a record crowd. The race bling and post-race party make these races worth your while. We have added Scratch Biscuit Company to the food sampling, along with Montano’s, Roanoke Co-op, and some good ole chili from the Texas Tavern. Walk up registrations will be accepted.

Thanksgiving season is here, and we are thankful for your support. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful time of year with family and friends.

Please take time to read our November “Spotlight Organizer” of the month. Molly Bullington is the master of organizing endurance runs in the greater Roanoke region. I hope here story inspires you to get off the couch and start running.
