The Virginia Commonwealth Games are upon us. Several sports have already taken place and the bulk of them are yet to come. Registrations in many sports are filling up fast so don’t hesitate to sign up now! 

Please mark your calendars for our Opening Ceremony and the Tailgate Party, sponsored by OrthoVirginia, at Liberty University (Indoor Practice Facility) July 18th at 5:30 pm.

This month’s spotlight article is on a young athlete who won the Virginia Commonwealth Games 2021 Youth Athlete of the Year Award. Later that year, her nomination won her the National Youth Athlete of the Year! It’s a must-read story about how she made it and where she is now. I would also like to encourage everyone to consider nominating an athlete for the 2025 awards. The deadline is August 4th. We have an Adult Athlete of the Year and Youth Athlete of the Year award. You can make your nominations here.
