We held our Smith Mountain Lake Triathlon on May 3rd. The weather was perfect, and the water temperature was at 72 degrees. We had 360 athletes on the line, and ironically, 142 athletes were there for their first triathlon. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who showed up; it was truly a great event. Now we turn our attention to the Virginia Commonwealth Games at Liberty University. Registrations are filling up quickly, so get yours in now and make your plans for destination Lynchburg, VA. Our boys’ and girls’ basketball will once again be our largest event, with upwards of 130 teams competing.
