President's Corner
A word from VAS President - Dan Foutz
To all our supporters, athletes, coaches, sponsors, and volunteers,
Our Star City Half Marathon was a blast, and we had more than 700 runners on the line. We had a post-race party that was a blast and want to thank all the participants and volunteers for making it a great race! We wrap up another successful year for the Virginia Commonwealth Games as we continue to grow our participants numbers to over 10,000. I hope to see you all at Liberty University and the City of Lynchburg in 2025. Keep checking our website as the registrations for your sport will be listed soon. Once again, a big thanks to all our participants, their families, our sponsors, and volunteers.
The holiday season is upon us and it is time to celebrate with our family and friends. Please celebrate safely and consider donating to one of the many toy drives this year and keep those in need in your thoughts. I wish you all the happiest holiday season and a Happy New Year!
As always, we appreciate your support and participation. Continue to train, practice, and prepare and I look forward to seeing you all out there!
Happy Holiday’s!
Dan Foutz
